Pick one season, two, or stack all three — the most committed players play year-round.
4v4 is the small-sided format the U.S. Soccer Development Initiative recommends for young players. With only four per side on a smaller indoor field, every kid touches the ball constantly. Players average 5× more touches per game than they would on a full-size outdoor field — and that compounding skill development is what makes 4v4 the right format for Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

What ages do the 4v4 leagues serve?
Kindergarten through high school is welcome at Legends 4v4. Happy Feet Kansas City’s pages target K through 3rd grade graduates of our preschool program — that’s our sweet spot — but the league itself runs through age 18.
How many seasons are there per year?
Three seasons: Spring 1 (March–May), Spring 2 (May–June), and Summer (July–August). Most players pick one or two; the most committed stack all three.
What’s the difference between Individual and Team Registration?
Individual Registration ($189/$199) includes a weekly 1-hour practice plus a weekend game with a designated Legends coach. Team Registration ($415 for 6 games, $450 for 8 games) is games-only, no coach. To get a Legends coach with a school group, register everyone as individuals and contact the directors.
Where do practices happen?
Every season at 9701 W 67th St., Merriam, KS — the Legends climate-controlled indoor facility with four turf fields.
Can my child play with their school friends?
Yes. We accept teammate requests during registration and actively build school teams when groups sign up together.
Is this the same league my older kid plays at Legends?
Yes — same league, same facility, same coaches, same fees. Happy Feet Kansas City’s pages are the marketing front-door for the K–3rd grade slice; the Legends Soccer Club site is the front-door for older players.
How is this different from a Happy Feet weekend league?
Happy Feet weekend leagues are for ages 2–5 with a 30-minute class plus 15–30 minute non-competitive game. 4v4 is the next level up — Kindergarten and older, structured 48-minute games on a 4v4 field, weeknight practices, and weekend games.
