Summer 4v4 is how your Happy Feet graduate keeps their touch sharp, stays connected with friends, and walks into fall ahead of the kids who took the summer off.
The Legends indoor facility is climate-controlled. While other clubs cancel for heat advisories, our 4v4 league plays through. Players average 5× more touches per game than they would on a full-size outdoor field. That’s a full season of development packed into eight summer weeks.

Player Older Than 3rd Grade?

What ages can play in Summer 4v4?
Kindergarten through high school is welcome. Teams are formed by age and gender. Happy Feet Kansas City’s pages target K through 3rd grade graduates of our preschool program, but the league itself runs through age 18.
Is the indoor facility actually air-conditioned?
Yes. The Legends Merriam facility is climate-controlled with four turf fields. No matter how hot Kansas City gets in July and August, we play. Heat advisories don’t cancel us.
What’s the difference between Individual and Team Registration?
Individual Registration ($189/$199) includes a weekly 1-hour practice plus a weekend game with a designated Legends coach. Team Registration ($415 for 6 games, $450 for 8 games) is games-only, no coach. To get a Legends coach with a school group, register everyone as individuals and contact the directors.
When are practices?
Monday through Thursday, 5pm to 9pm at 9701 W 67th St., Merriam, KS. Younger age groups practice earlier. You select your preferred weeknight at registration.
Can my child play with their school friends?
Yes. We accept teammate requests during registration and actively build school teams when groups sign up together.
How is this different from a summer camp?
Summer camps are 1-week intensives. Summer 4v4 gives your player 8 weeks of structured practices and real games against age-matched opponents — developmental momentum, not just a one-week sugar hit.
